EMS Mental Wellness during COVID-19

The New Jersey Department of Health, Office of Emergency Medical Services (OEMS) is vested in ensuring the public health, safety, and welfare of the citizens and visitors of New Jersey. Included is the need to safeguard and ensure the mental health and wellness of the Emergency Medical Services clinicians that respond to the calls for help across New Jersey.

This particularly holds true during this pandemic for which New Jersey sits at the epicenter. It is because of this that OEMS would like to stress the importance of mental wellness. If you or someone you know is struggling during this difficult time, please don’t stand silent. Help is available 24/7.
